Dr. Peter Chandra, Board Chair
Peter is a governance & strategy advisor with more than
30 years experience across the not-for-profit, corporate, faith-based and
social enterprise sectors. He has deep expertise in board performance,
strategic alignment, and governance in cross-cultural contexts, particularly
within values-driven organisations. Peter has supported numerous boards through major transitions, from vision realignment to structural change, and has played a key role in brokering funding and facilitating high-stakes strategy conversations
in Australia & S E Asia. Peter currently serves on the board of Baptist
World Aid Australia. For over 15 years, Peter has been a facilitator with the
Australian Institute of Company Directors specialising in corporate strategy, risk and board reporting.
Dr Geoffery Ericksson
Geoff is a High Frequency Trading specialist with expertise and experience in governance, finance, fintechs and the not-for-profit sector. His initial training in theoretical physics has enabled him to have a diverse career. At the University of Queensland
he lectured in mathematics and computer science while researching in structural biology and neuroscience.
Additionally, he currently holds board positions in both the for-profit and
not-for-profit sectors. He firmly supports Avodah's approach of using business as a mechanism for community development and sustainable church planting.
Mark Bilton Board Advisor, BSc GradDip Bus MBA FAICD FAIM
Mark is an Independent Chair, Strategist and Leadership Advisor. He has
two decades of CEO experience, from privately-owned ventures, to
multinationals, notably as the Group Managing Director of Gloria Jeans’ Coffees
leading forty countries.
His leadership is globally recognised, with accolades such as YPO’s esteemed
Terry Plochman Award for "Global Best of the Best.” Alongside an MBA, Mark
holds the distinction of being a Fellow of the AICD.
