Our approach

Modern Anti-Slavery Statement

Avodah Global endorses Australia’s Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) whose purpose is to eradicate all forms of modern slavery. We are committed to the prevention of modern slavery in our own supply chains.

  • As a manufacturer specifically employing the marginalised and vulnerable, we are committed to operating with integrity and in an ethical manner.
  • We treat our workers with dignity and respect.
  • We prioritise maintaining a positive, family-like working environment •We pay them a living wage or above and provide meal and transport allowances, access to free medical services, eye checks, English classes, personal money management and fitness classes.
  • We do not tolerate coercive, abusive or unfair treatment to any member in any part of our business.
  • We expect a similar commitment across our supply chains.
  • We partner with reputable justice organisations who support the restoration and rehabilitation of trafficking victims.
  • We work with credentialled suppliers for the procurement of fabric, trims and other production inputs.
  • We prioritise suppliers who are able to provide traceability back to the source of their products (eg: textile manufacturers who can track their supply chain to the farmer growing the cotton).
  • We have established policies and practices to ensure we comply with our ethical commitments.
